It’s a variation of an undercut, characterized by shaved sides and longer hair on top, that is typically styled slicked back or parted. It’s a bold look that can be way outside of the comfort zone for some.

Similar to the buzzcut, I think this haircut would look the best on a strong, defined face with prominent cheekbones and a sharp jawline. The hair texture is not as important in this case, as the top section of the hair can be styled however you like.

However, keep in mind that this is by no means a low-maintenance option. You’ll need to visit the hair salon every 2 weeks to maintain a sharp look that is essential for this haircut.

The Statement Haircut: The Modern Mullet Fade

If you’re looking for a dramatic transformation then you should give the modern mullet fade a chance.

This trendy haircut draws inspiration from the classic mullet, giving it a bit of spice with a clean fade on the sides. It’s bold, cool, and more wearable than you’d expect.
